Are you ready to rock the year 2016? Each and every year, we make resolutions that may be hard to stick to. While resolutions are nice, they may be hard to keep track of – especially with your hands full, mama. Instead of making one resolution, choose to improve yourself in smaller ways throughout the year.

This week, we have seven self-improvement tips to share with you. By tackling these smaller tasks, you can improve the quality of your life over the course of the year.

#1: De-clutter your mind by de-cluttering your home. Rid of excess junk in the house, starting with closets, shelves, storage, and more. You can even hold a yard sale and make some extra cash if you have the time. Or, you can drop it off at your local Salvation Army. Easy and you’ll feel good knowing someone in need will have it.

#2: Each day, jot down one thing that you are thankful for in a journal. At the end of the year, you can look back on all the positive pieces of your life.

#3: Let go of grudges. If you have not forgiven someone for something in the past, make it a point to do so. You’ll be surprised by how much weight is lifted.

#4: Try a new food each month. Put your taste buds to the test!

#5: Trying to lose weight? Instead of going crazy, simply swap your large plates for smaller ones. The smaller your plate, the less inclined you will be to fill it up.

#6: Over the course of the year, make it a point to do one good deed per day. This could be as small and simple as buying a stranger a coffee.

How will you choose to improve yourself this year? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section below. We love inspiration.
