Here are 11 positive reminders for your day.

#1: You woke up this morning. THAT is something to be happy about. Now take advantage of it!

#2: Happiness is not a destination, but a journey. You will not be constantly happy, but guess what? That’s totally normal and human! Learn to accept this.

#3: You are making progress. It may not seem like it, but you are.

#4: You learn and grow from your mistakes. It may have seemed like the worst mistake at the time, but give it a few months, or years. You will eventually see the good in your “mistake.”

#5: You are reading this article. You are online, which means you have a computer, tablet, or phone. Most people cannot say the same. Do not take it for granted.

#6: You are the only person who can make a change in your life. If you never write the book you want to write, no one is going to write it for you. Make the most of your time and do what YOU want to do.

#7: Worrying is not going to get you anywhere. Why worry if it is doing nothing but sucking energy from your day?

#8: It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile. Let that one sink in.

#9: Only you are in charge of your mood. You decide if something unexpected is going to put a wrench in your day or if you will blow it off. No one “puts you” in a bad mood. Remember that.

#10: It’s a bad day, not a bad life. Sleep it off and see what tomorrow brings.

#11: Someone loves you more than you can fathom. That’s a beautiful thing.
