Cool Down Treat: Mango Sorbet

What’s more refreshing than a cup of fruity sorbet on a hot, summer day? Now that the season is in full swing, we want to share one of our favorite mango sorbet recipes. It is quick, easy, and oh-so-satisfying. Take a look at the recipe below, followed by some health benefits you may not have known about mangoes.

The Recipe

You will need:

  • 4 cups fresh mangoes, diced
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups ice

To make:

  • Following the listed order, place all ingredients in a blender.
  • Start with a low speed, gradually increasing to high until it has become smooth. This may take 30 seconds-1 minute.

To serve a soft sorbet, serve right away. For a harder sorbet, spread the mix into a shallow dish and allow to rest in the fridge for about 20 minutes.
