Yeast infections – they happen to us when we are pregnant and when we aren’t. They are just a part of lady life!


You are positive that you have a yeast infection going on down there, so now what? Instead of itching and scratching, it may be a good idea to try your luck in the kitchen. Did you know that there are a number of home remedies to help soothe and prevent a yeast infection? Let’s take a look at a few.

Home remedies include:

  • Keep it dry & keep it loose. Yeast thrives in moist conditions, so it is important to take care of yourself down there. Always dry yourself fully and choose breathable underwear, such as cotton underwear or even loose pants.

  • Garlic is said to contain natural antifungal properties that can help put an end to a yeast infection. Aside from consuming garlic, ladies have reported results from peeling and using garlic down there.
  • The application of tea tree oil may help soothe an infection.
  • Drink cranberry juice, as it can help lower the pH of your urine, which may in turn help to balance your pH levels.
