Take a look for some serious inspiration:

#1: Let the healing process happen in its own way and time. It will take time to get back to yourself! I mean you did just bake a child for nine months in your body and then popped out a baby in one day like it was nothing. It is so much for the mind to comprehend. My baby’s 5 months old and most days I look at him and think man I was already pregnant for nine months when it feels like yesterday I found out this was to be a new addition to our life. –Abby R.

#2: Don’t be so hard on yourself. Love yourself, be kind to yourself, and heal yourself. It may take longer than you expected and that’s ok. -Kari B.

#3: You are yourself! This is your body after doing something amazing. –Ashley B.

#4: Embrace your new addition & continue to do what makes you happy! –Ramona M.R.

#5: Allow well meaning people to help you, even if they don’t do things the way you would. If it means you get to rest and cuddle your baby then it is worth it. –Brooke J.

#6: Make a little you time! Throw on some makeup and fix your hair.. Don’t forget about yourself even if it is all about the little ones! –Michelle H.S.

#7: Enjoy every moment with your new bundle of joy. Motherhood is a learning experience for you as well as your baby. Don’t worry about if you don’t have time to clean your house or do laundry. Allow people to help you and more importantly, if you need help, don’t be afraid to ask. As the saying goes, “it takes a village to raise a child”. If you feel overwhelmed or frustrated, take deep breaths! You are going to be okay. Above all else, through all the chaos try to develop a routine where you allot yourself some time to relax. Even if it’s 15-20 a day. You’ll need that to regroup. And remember, you’re amazing and you’re doing a great job! –Tammy H.
