Recipe for Thanksgiving: Saucy Cranberry Mash

Homemade Red Cranberry Sauce

Looking for another great recipe for the upcoming holiday? It’s so soon! Here’s another one of our favorite side dishes, and we believe that it will become one of yours, too.

Cranberry, anyone?

You will need:

  • 1 bag of cranberries (12 oz)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 cup water

To make:

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil
  • Reduce to a simmer and cook until cranberries are soft – 10 minutes or so
  • Once done, transfer mash to a bowl and cool at room temp
  • Keep in the fridge before serving!
